Years from now, after the Brony fandom dies out, and historians try to evaluate the most important contributions that this fandom has made to the world. What will it be?

Is it all the charity work they have done? 

Funded a documentary that sucks and keeps asking for money?

Has had drama at every single convention?

There is literally porn of dozens of children’s cartoons, but no one ever seems to have a problem with it — until it’s about MLP. Suddenly, it’s the most heinous crime in the history of man.

Big surprise that, once again, the MLP fandom takes flak for the same exact shit the rest of the world has been doing for decades.

There is literally porn of all cartoons yes. Don’t remember there being a porn book selling for $46k of Dora the Explorer. (considering how much of a waste of money that is when you can just…print it out at home) That’s the point of the post.

MeltyMod: Maybe hazama has been under a rock this entire time because he failed to notice that people have been calling out cartoon porn for years. To this day Sonic porn is banned from furaffinity (supposedly??) and people are STILL attempting to get R^2 fired because he keeps bending the rules to allow fuckwits from furaffinity and other shitty websites to post their porn on dA for $$$$.

Even if another cartoon fandom did make bank on a shitty porn book, it would still be just as gross as bronies doing it (SURPRISE!?!). Bronies get special mentions because they’ve reached furry fandom levels of horrible in an extremely short amount of time and TBH I haven’t heard of another fandom doing this.
I kinda wish he was trolling since he attempts to call out others cherry picking yet he cherry picked one complaint for his entire argument, but I’m 100% sure he’s serious and IMO that’s worse than defending a shitty MLP porn book.

I don’t keep track of Furaffinity or DeviantArt, so I wasn’t aware of anything going on there. (I have heard, in passing, of corrupt DA admins, though.) If that’s what’s happening, then I retract my point about nobody caring about other cartoons.

What other arguments were there to exclude in my alleged cherry-picking? I thought this was one argument about pony porn. I’m serious; I don’t want to be a faulty debater.

This entire reblog chain is funny in its pointlessness. Also it seems that the OP and others don’t understand why we support this project. Btw, $35 supporter here, might bump it up to 95 for that stretch goal.

I’m supporting this project because I love all the artists involved. Not all of these artists are accepting commissions, and there’s probably nothing i’d want to commission them for anyways. So projects like these are a great way to support those artists and their work.


And with the average contribution being $58.91 per person, no one person is paying “thousands” for this project. Unlike what was reported for some copies of the original “Hoof Beat” comic.

It’s not wrong to support this project, it’s not a horrible thing. Quite the opposite. This is a project started by a great artist, working with other great artists, on a project for adults who enjoy adult material and wish to support their favorite artists..

Compare these results to Onta’s recent “Hardblush: Boystown” project, a a compilation of gay, furry, porn comics. (Which I also contributed to)

While the numbers are only about half for Boystown, guess what the average contribution was… $58.60 per person.

It’s the EXACT SAME THING, and people are paying the exact same prices on average. But only bronies are getting thrown under the bus for it.

If you don’t like it, don’t support the project and don’t go around shaming those that do. It’s none of your goddamn business to judge.
